Whats it for, ive never used it and have been wondering what it is.

Second gear start. You use it to force the auto tranny to start in second gear from a stop instead of first gear... it helps in slippery conditions (IE Snow) to keep wheelspin down.

LOL, I ran at the track with that on once, result 2.8 60' and some 21 sec 1/4 mile. I knew it felt slow.
