Okay I did something really stupid. I did this Hot donut and then right after my P/S pump started leaking and I couldnt steer(Power assist) after a few minutes. Its a pretty good leak but this is a brand new power steering pump. Its about 3 months old. Can I destroy a pump doing a donut or could it be a hose or something? Please help me out.

probably a hose if not just a gasket or something. i doubt you broke the actual pump. i have a leak also but its just a hose.

short answer.. yes. you might have destroyed the pumps front seal. only way to make sure is to clean the area and watch as someone turnes the wheel from lock to lock and see where it;s coming from1996 Silver camaro Z28. Ok but I noticed my fluid was foamy so could that be only a hose or maybe both? If its the pump oh well have to change that too now... :(Mods: SLP CAI, SLP loudmouth, Removed MAF screen, Remote Fog lights, Taillight Blackouts, \"Firebird\" in third brake light all on Kumho 245/50 R16\'s
