  • loud headlights

I just bought a 2002 firebird. the headlights on my old 93 weren't as noisy going up and down as this new is. is this normal? I thought I was being paranoid but last night my girlfriend commented on how loud they are. They seem to be louder going down. I can actually "feel" them go down. The sound is very clunky. anyone know what I mean?

i'm not sure if it's normal, but my Formula's headlights are louder as well. I figured it was because they had to be able to withstand 150+ mph compared with the 112 from my old one.

Mine were noisy too, took them to the dealer, they lubed them and all is well.

the lights on the new style are bigger and heaver than the 93. That's why i think u can feel (so can I) them and they are louder.

if some lube would help, where would I lube them? The idea that they are bigger and heavier makes sense.
