I was wanting y'alls opinions on what mods will be good but cheap. I have a 99 firebird with slp exhaust, whisper lid, ram air mod, limited slip and 3.42's.

well, you have intake taken care of. you have some exhaust done. and your drivetrain is good.

    i would say:

do first***-headers and a high flow cat or no cat at all.
-you could go the suspension direction
-you could go the motor direction like a cam and some valvetrain work
    -TSP tuning

thats gives you a thing or two to think about

First thing is what do you mean by cheap? If you have a certain price range in mind that would help, also what are your goals with the car: All around quick street driver, autocross, drag racing, etc...
I agree with BLLDOGG about the headers and cat, that will help with flow of air.
After that it depends on your goals.
I think for all around best upgrades Suspension and Tuning would be best. TSP seems to have the best deal around at the moment.
Let us know what you want to do with the car and we can help you more.

id say get some suspension work started. what do you have? A4 or M5? if you have an auto, look into a higher stalling TQ. and start to look into what is involved in changing you cam. a mild cam will be great for a street car wanting a good boost in power at the strip.

port + polish heads and intake, then go for the headers and cat removal
