  • New radiator, New thermo, New P/S pump!

This weekend I changed out the crap radiator and put the green stuff in.(I still might get a chem flush to get every bit of the orange out but I think its alright). And then got a 180 thermo and changed my power steering pump. All were very easy to do but a little messy. My car runs so good now. This is the best its ran since I bought the car 3 years ago. It runs at 180 all the time and on the highway runs at about 165-170. Thanks everyone who gave me advise over the past few days.

Do you want chocolate chip cookies, or just regular sugar cookies? ;)

I know this is and old post, but when you said "change out the crap radiator" did you mean you changed your radiator fluid?

Why put the "green stuff" in when Dex-cool is proven to be less corrosive and longer lasting? Are engines are made to run on Dex, I wouldn't go screwing around with fluids so haphazardly.

Dexcool sucks hairy nuts. Seriously, no other way to put it. The first time i opened up my radiator when i got my car it was all sortsa f'd up.

Screw dexcool, long live the green stuff!

agreed thanks to dex cool I had to throw away 1800 bucks on my car that 1800 could have went to my paint job but nooooooooooooooooooo I had to waist it to get my car running again. Thank you dex cool and thank you gm for invitning the most uslesless coolant for cars that has ever been made.
