I have looked at alot of threads. None of them are given me a direct answer though. See, I live in Chicago, hot summers, and icey winters. I know the stock thermo is terrible. Just what would be better for my area, a 180* or a 160*? Thanks

Cold winters? Go with the 180. I had the 160 in my car in SC (that has mild winters) and I got cold. I have the 180 and it is fine, works well with my Jet chip. Thanks for the info guys. What is a good brand for a 180*? Where could I get one? I called up Murrays auto super store. They had one by, robert shaw brand or something like that for 9 bucks.
