thanks, but is there a way to have it turn on whenever the car is on, (electric H2O Pump) and when ever the switch is activated? Just to be safe, cause i have ADD lol and thant dont work good for my engine, like remove the steering wheel to rember not to drive without the switch on, and when i get back into the car sit and wonder for 15 mins how my steering wheel came off lol thats how it is to have ADD, just wondering about the other way, thanks!

If you turn the switch on it will run the pump untill you turn the switch off. If you turn the car on, the pump will run untill you turn the car off. (electric only)

Just needed to add to this that if the engine is not on the water pump will drain the battery fairly quickly because the alternator isn't active.

You can just wire it in parallel with however you wire it to turn on with the key. To run the pump automatically when the car is on, run a ground and then run the positive to a switched +12V source capable of handling the current. Then, to run it when the car is off, just run another wire from the +12V connection on the pump to an unswitched +12V connection on the car, putting a switch somewhere along that +12V wire. So, you'll have one wire from the pump to ground, and two wires from the pump's +12V terminal. And don't forget about fuses.
