    Airbag light

    My airbag light blinks 7 times with just the ignition on. When I start the car, it blinks 5 times and then goes off. Is this normal?

    I just replaced the 3rd brake lights and both ABS INOP and airbag lights stopped being on all the time.

    perfectly normal. the only time you ahve a problem is when the light stays on

      any idea why the 3rd brake light is tied into the airbag light? not to mention the ABS INOP light :S

        I do not belive that it is tied into the sirbag system but it is into the ABS system. But why I am not yet sure. I have yet to find any good information on that subject yet
