• My dash is going haywire!!!!!

okay, random warning lights have been turning on and off (e.g. airbag lights, seatbelt lights, SES lights) on my car for the last 2 days. At first i thought my ABS was really inoperational. but when i shut my car off for a few hours, and came back, it was fine, but then my car thought my seatbelt was unbuckled when it wasnt. this is getting very annoying, especially since i was just about to put my car up for sale. (i want to get a 3.8L) this happen to anyone? what do i do?

sounds like a short of some kind. Have you spilled a drink anywhere in the past few days? Has it been raining there or had it been?

Yeah just take it off and clean it up. If you spilt just water the problem should just go away after a couple days at most but if you spilt something like soda it gets all sticky and takes a long time for it to dry up. I would take off the center console, disconect the battery, and use a rag and windex or water to clean ever wire and connector that you see. Wipe dry as much as you can then let it air dry for an hour or two with the windows rolled down then put it all back together. If you have any trouble taking things apart just let us know ;)
