my car is missing really bad. it has ZERO low end power. i cant even spin them when i stall it up. i used to be able to stomp it from a stop and spin for a good distance.I Checked my Fuel pressure and it was reading 44 PSI with a new fuel filter(it was at 40PSI with the old filter. Haynes manuel says that with the key on the car should be between 49 and 55 PSI. it not electrical cuz i changed the plugs, i have taylor wires and i did have the MSD dis-4 on the car but i took it off until i can get it running correctly. ive heard people saying its the fuel pump but i personally think its the fuel pressure regulator.

I have a fuel pressure gauge mounted on the pillar. I get about 44 psi at initial key-on with the engine off. 40 when idling. It creeps up to 48 at wot going down the road.
I've never seen it go into the 50's. (except when spraying my dry nitrous kit, but that's a whole different situation...)
If you have a miss, it's probably not the fuel delivery. Do you have an ses light? Had it scanned? The codes will point you in the right direction. Could be a sensor, or a loose plug wire.

hmmm....
The lean codes definitely means the pcm thinks it's not getting enough fuel.
But, since the sensors read oxygen, not fuel, a misfire in a cylinder will dump unburned oxygen and fuel into the exhuast and the sensor will only see the oxygen, and think it's lean.
If all the plugs and wires are good, I'd think o2 sensors next. Fuel pressure sounds like it's in good shape. Another possibility might be one or more clogged injectors.
What was the last thing you changed about the car right before the missing started?\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next<br />v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock<br />v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp<br />Moderator on <a href=\"http://www.mtfba.org\" target=\"_blank\">www.mtfba.org</a> and <a href=\"http://www.frrax.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.frrax.com</a> (Road Race & Autocross)<br /><a href=\"http://community.webshots.com/user/johnduncan10\" target=\"_blank\">Car pics</a>, <a href=\"http://www.trscca.com\" target=\"_blank\">TN Region SCCA</a>

well i has it at the dealer awhile ago for a faulty transmission vavle body and it was being replaced under warranty. they also said that i had a misfire and i should replace my plugs\and or wires. so i bought taylor wires and platinum plugs. the #4 spark plug was almost totally bridged over between the electrode and the arm on the spark plug. after changing the plugs the and wires the car started up fine but still had a slight miss. now the car feels like total crap and the idle will bounce between 900-1000 rpm and shake the car. ive ran fuel injector cleaner through the car nemerous times and nothing has happened. Also the car constantly miss's but the SES light took forever to come on. after about a 2 days it went off, (came on 2 days ago) and has yet to come back on. would bad 02 sensors be causing the car to miss?

It could be nearly anything... Sounds like a bad wire or a vacuum leak. Could be a bad maf sensor. Possibly o2 sensors.\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next<br />v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock<br />v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp<br />Moderator on <a href=\"http://www.mtfba.org\" target=\"_blank\">www.mtfba.org</a> and <a href=\"http://www.frrax.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.frrax.com</a> (Road Race & Autocross)<br /><a href=\"http://community.webshots.com/user/johnduncan10\" target=\"_blank\">Car pics</a>, <a href=\"http://www.trscca.com\" target=\"_blank\">TN Region SCCA</a>

There's a test port on the fuel rail. A fuel pressure gauge will screw onto the test port. It's got a black cap on it, and it's near the #2 injector.\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next<br />v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock<br />v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp<br />Moderator on <a href=\"http://www.mtfba.org\" target=\"_blank\">www.mtfba.org</a> and <a href=\"http://www.frrax.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.frrax.com</a> (Road Race & Autocross)<br /><a href=\"http://community.webshots.com/user/johnduncan10\" target=\"_blank\">Car pics</a>, <a href=\"http://www.trscca.com\" target=\"_blank\">TN Region SCCA</a>
