"Tune-up" used to mean points, condenser, rotor, cap, wires, plugs, timing, PCV valve, yadda yadda yadda.
Now days with computerized engines, there are no points, no condenser, no rotor, no cap, no adjustable timing, etc. If you get a tune up, you're basically getting plugs and wires. MAYBE they'll clean the EGR and replace the PCV valve.
If you can do these things yourself, save the money.

Plugs & wires you can do yourself. Changing the PCV is probably a good idea if it hasn't been done. Also, how long since you had the fuel filter changed?2001 Onyx Black Camaro M5-Totalled
2005 Ford F150 XLT 5.4L

\"To make peace, prepare for war.\"
