  • Hard hesitation then it goes away, SES light on and off

last week i was weaving in and out of cones while accelerating and then out of knowwhere i have a hard couple of misfires. then everything was normal.

My SES light has been comming on and going off every few days. when it was on i went to schucks and it came accross as i think P0138 or what i found in the book to be, if im right, the o2 sensor right before the cat. im stumped because i have o2 simulators right before and after the cat because it has been hollowed out.

i have had it hollowed out for about two years now and never once had a problem. when the key is on the simulator light still blinks so i know they are plugged in.

my car occasionally idles high too. sometime when i am sitting in traffic it will be wanting to go so i put it in neutral and it sits at 2000rpms. i try to tap the gas so it will go down but that doesnt work. as soon as i turn it off and then back on it idles like regular.

last night i pulled out of the parking lot and i thought all hell broke loose after the amount of hesitation it was having. the SES light was on and had been on two days previous to that. it hesitated before driving a few times but only two or three hesitations then back to normal.

then after about two minutes of driving it went away and i KID YOU NOT my car seems to have more power. it didnt hesitate the rest of the night and i was even flooring it and then driving regular then flooring it.

there were times when i would go WOT at 30mph and it would downshift and catch a little bit of rubber and then throw you in you seat harder than it usually did.

then the SES light went off.

any ideas because i am completely stumped unless you guys may have heard of o2 sims going bad and causing random hard and i mean hard hesitation.
thanks in advance and sorry for the long post/just thought the more info the better

no they are on the back one right before and one right after the cat. converter. real o2 sensors are still on the manifolds.
