PLEASE use the search function before you post. This has been covered many times.
Autozone has a relatively cheap scanner that doesn't pull codes from our computers. Here's the problem: the 1995 cars have OBD1 computers but the same connector as is used on the OBD2 computers. The scanner cannot differentiate between computers and reports no data because the data really isn't there. (at least in the place the scanner thinks it should be)
Since this is an OBD1 computer, it would seem that you could do the paperclip trick, but that does not work, either. (The light is wired differently, and does not blink for code reporting)
You will have to take your car to either a dealer or a shop you know uses Snap-on equipment. The dealer machines will differentiate, and the Snap-on's will too. Basically, it has to cost an arm and a leg!
Good luck!

...or find someone that has an auto x-ray ez-link pro. I just bought one and it works on all cars 1983 and up... kinda pricey(369.00)but worth it if you work on a lot of different cars. Or you can buy a make specific scanner for 150.00. Same as dealers here charge to do a diagnostic scan.99 Dodge Quadcab<br />Traded: 2001 Camaro(will be missed)<p>Be wary of anything that can bleed for 5 days and live....
