when it comes on while driving that was a fault but it will alow you to restart.
If the fault happnes again once that fault is gone and while it;s not running you will probably be stuck. You can have the code scanned to get you in some direction as to teh cause.

lol, yeah. i was driving and it came on for about a minute. what do you mean by fault? i know one reason for the problem is the key but thats all i know. i dont have a security system or anything if that helps narrow things down.Comment

I dount it;s the key. Most times when you see a fault like that it's the relay or module. A scan will be the only way to glimps into it without any other info1996 Silver camaro Z28.
