I jacked it up from where the regular jack would go and i ended up bending that area. so i bent it back, but what sould i do so that area wont bend again? should i put a coat of por15 on it, i know that stuffs supposed to be really strong.

When I use a hydrolic jack, I jack it up in the middle of the car, I have no clue what it's called, its right under the motor I think its a plate that covers the axel. I'm not sure and don't feel like crawling under my car to look.

Just hit one of the frame rails if you're using a floor jack.

On Install University they have a section written up on all the lift points for our cars. It has pictures and everything, and if you need info on other parts it's all there too.

The "tabs" that are under the front fenders, that look like jacking points on most cars ARE NOT JACKING POINTS.

they attach the fenders to the car, and will bend/bow outward, and mess up the fender alignment.

What i do is jack to the "frame rails" with a 6 by 6" piece of 1/4 steel plate over my jack to spread the load evenly across.

Once i finish building my subframe connectors, i will just lift by them.
