  • Misfiring - Help with Parts suggestion

My engine is misfiring - took it to Pep Boys for daignosis and Cylinder 5 is going nuts. So I'm replacing coils, wires, and plugs.

Any suggestions and the parts I should get? The coil they said to get is E51. I'd like to take a step up from normal plugs and wires and put something good and durable in there - please gimme suggestions/links.

This'll also be the first time I've done this - doesn't look too bad, but please gimme any suggestions with procedures and tools. So far I've just looked in the Chilton's Repair Manual.

    It's a 2001 3.8L Firebird.

Also gonna do air filter and get a Whisper Lid while I'm at it - suggest: Holley or K&N?

Thanks - do any local parts stores like AutoZone carry these, or am I gonna have to get'em off the 'net?
