Form what I gathered, the Y87 is just for camaro's and it has 3.42 gears and the whole 9. What is the equivalant for a 98+ firebird? Is 3.42 stock on them?

It's still the Y87 package on the Firebird... Stock gearing (atleast for 2000) was 3.08 (auto), and 3.23 (manual). I'm not sure what Y87 includes w/ the Camaro, but I'm guessing it's the same as the Firebird... 3.42 (w/ auto trans), uplevel steering, 235/55/16 tires, limited slip differential, and dual exhaust.2000 Red Firebird W68
