hey everyone. basically, my turn signal on the passenger side is going slower now than the driver side. funny thing is that it'll speed up and slow down on its own. like if i'm at a light waiting to go right, i'll notice it speeding upa nd slowing down obviously. any ideas on what it could be?

Seriously, have you checked to see if there is a relay that controls the turn indicators. What stumps me is that it is only one. Just thinking out loud (or keyboarding out loud) run it by your manual to see if there are turn signal relays listed. Also possibly a bulb on that side going bad...or maybe even a socket shorting. The old school muscle cars that I could understand had regluators and relays....kind of made it simple.
And brother....I need simple!\"this isn\'t flying...its falling...with style!\"<br /> -Buzz Lightyear<br /><br /><br /> 96 bright red firebird, T-tops, monsoon CD Flowmaster catback dual exhaust <br /><br /> <a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/joyfellowship1\" target=\"_blank\">http://members.cardomain.com/joyfellowship1</a> <br /> <a href=\"http://www.joyfellowshipchurch.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.joyfellowshipchurch.com</a>

LMAO, THIS POST SHOULD BE PRESENTED AS THE FUNNIEST OF THE YEAR.
Thermal flasher is weak or your connection is shorting or bad thats why! When not enough power is made to the thermal flasher, it will make the light slow. When too much power is made the light will go fast.
In simple quick explanation. The flasher has a metal bar, a coiled resistive wire wrapped around the bar but does not touch the bar, Also there is a flat curved spring connected at both ends of the bar. Current is sent throught he resistive wire heating up the bar. When it gets to hot the bar expands causing the spring to straighten and touch the contact for the lightbulb. As the contact is made the current is bypasses the resistive wire and the bar and wire cool, causing it to return to its original state thus disconnecting the power to the bulb.
You very well could have a failure of the flasher or short.
This all happens very quickly! If the wire is not heating up fast enough it will cause it to be slow. If your blinker is fast, the wire is heating up to fast.
