Wondering if it would be alright to jack up the front end one side at a time and put it on jack stands? Like jack up one side in the designated spot right under the door until I can put a jackstand there and then lower it onto the jackstand and jack up the other side. Would that be safe? I get so tired of jacking up my whole front end at once. It takes me forever and it's really tiring with my 15 dollar hydraulic jack. That and it involves me being halfway under the car to jack it up. Anywayz, anyone else do this or think it would be OK?
Thanks

I do it jsut be careful, when you jack up one side you shift the weight, and sometimes "rock" the jacksatnd up as you are lifting it, I ahve seen it look like it was going to fall over and drop the car, jsut keep the Jackstand on a low setting, and watch it as you jack the car up SLOWLY. Do that, and car is vary stable.
I do it every time I change my oil. (which I have to do next week).. go for it... the only problem is you might dent the frame rail a little.. no biggie though..
