  • I will vouge for Sea Foam.

Well Im in dallas county and the emissions test for inspection is pretty damn harsh now.... They have to put it on a dyno and everything... anyways I been trying evrything to get it to pass...first time on the NOx on emissions I was getting a 1300 averrage when i was supposed to get below 900.... well i changed my spark plugs and wires and new egr valve. only got it down to 1200 ... I put two cans of sea foam through took it to get inspected PASSED!!!! got a 894 out of 907!!! . LoL barly passed but not i got my sticker!!

I live in Harris Co, Houston and I went htru this last year. I did not do the Seafoam thing but my numbers were close to yours for the 1st run....I took the car out on the HWY for a 45 minute drive and kept the RPMs up....put it on the dyno and passed no problem.

I just did it, the vaccum sucked little over a 3/4 out. My engine tried so hard not to stall. And the smoke was cool lol. Car seems to run a little cleaner now. My computer got reset and I got a code for the MAF. Got it cleared and all good, obvously it was from the vaccum line being taken off.

its similar here in northern va -- dyno tests at 15 and 25 mph. i asked the guy doing the testing about awd vehicles (since they only have one set of rollers) and he said that they can only do idle emissions checks on those vehicles.

want to screw with your local green police? drive an awd.

Cali has done a dyno test forever. But the best is get an electric cutout like me and hope the tech doesnt notice =) cause I ran mine about 1/10th open just to see how it would do, I passed and the tech was like Holy crap u did good. so I told him about the cutout and he was like oo. He was cool and didnt care, but I had him test it again anyway. LoL the 2nd test : Holy crap you did good. Yep. My car isnt a peice. and its not stock. Its all about proper maitnence. The sea foam get the **** out of ur car that piled up. I dont have any of that

I dunno if u can get it there but I got mine at Nappa for near 5 bux a can...... if ur car doesnt stall by the time u use up 3/4 of the can.. turn it off and pour the rest in the gas tank...

I bought mine from Nappa too..cost me $6 bucks! I guess the store here is ripping me off..haha. I was wondering about the gas tank..Is it safe to pour a whole bottle in the gas tank? or maybe 1/2 of it. There were only 2 bottles left on the shelf. Supply and demand..I'm gonna go back tomorrow and get the last one. ;)

get both of them... run it through, then wait a couple days and do it again....its ok to put it in the gas tank i had about ¼ of a tank left and i put in half a bottle..... so if ur worried... just put in a full bottle when u have a full tank or nearly full since if it was full u couldnt put it in :D from now on im going to do it everytime I change my oil.... Also i Flushed my engine the other day.. if you read a post about it.... I was very supprised..... very!

I poured about 1/2 of the bottle into the vacuum line..and my car never stalled. Everyone says do it until you car stalls, so I just turned it off. Still smoked like crazy though. Now I'm paranoid someone bought that last bottle! haha..I'm going there right away tomorrow to hopefully pick it up.

Thanks for the info Big Tymer.
