  • MSD DIS 4 question

    What 12 volt source should I wire my DIS 4 to? It says write it to the radio interface capacitor, but do we even have that??? Thanks for the help!

    mine is wired to my battery, right to the power side.

      so you have two connections to a 12volt source?

        no, just the one wire. the other is a ground

          ya i figured that out to late. besides hooking up the the wires off the box i also hooked up the red wires in the harness, since they had connections on them, to the battery as well. the end result was i couldn't turn off the engine, took out the key and everything engine still ran. I tried pulling a spark plug wire, disconnecting the battery, and ended up having to cut the power wire to the DIS 4 box to get the engine to turn off. So note to people installing their own DIS 4 ignore the conectors on the red wires, and DO NOT wire them to battery.

              ya i fixed it...all I rewired the box to the battery and took off the extra connections...RUNS LIKE A CHAMP NOW!!!!

                  NGK V-power I believe...I also have NGK G-Power waiting to go in, their a heat higher I believe. I bought them off Josh at FTPP one night and don't remember the details b/c I was half awake
