  • Spark plug wire protector....cover?

I am putting on my MSD wires tomorrow. Is there any kind of cover or wrap or something to put over the wires to help them stay cooler and away from some of that heat? I didnt know if something like this is made it was just a thought.

Thanks for the info. Is it worth it to get those firberglass boots and if so where would i get them? Do they make anything for the wires itself?

There are heat shields that go on some of the wires (3 actually, the back two on the right side and the back wire on the left side). I just put new ones on that I picked up at the dealer for $1.71 each. At least this is so on a 98 3800.

I bought a 6 ft. roll of 1000* ignition wire sleeving from Summit.

cut it up, 1 foot per wire, and I used it all the way to the boot, and put the factory boot protectors over them. Its actually a good idea...
