• Dyno results, Do they seem low?

http://dynoperformance.com/search_details.php?ID=480

went and redynoed, the guy just went threw 1st and 2nd so what ur looking at is power as if I were drag racing and it had just shifted gears. I stock dynoed at 138.6hp @5200rpm and 165tq @3800rpm. mods listed on the sheet are only mods. Car is in pretty good working order other than my Throttle position sensor being slightly off.
Edit: the car is auto, which is why it was dynoed that way-

why would they do it in 1st and second gear???

i thought it was supposed to be in 3rd gear for automatics?

and 4th gear for 5speeds..

Those are reallllly low.. even for a stock car..

at most dyno's you can dyno in any gear.. but its better to do it i na higher gear so you get a more accurate/smoother graph..

I dunno.. those graphs are really chopped off also.. next time try and get them to start the dyno at a lower RPM..

BTW.. you kunkle head.. look at your peak #'s on the images not the fist number on the table.. you dynoed 155.4 hp / 200.3 TQ..

If these graphs are accruate then there is possably something wrong with your car.. you shuld be 150-160ish stock.. The mods you have are not that extensive though.. So i would not sweat it too much..

just for the record though, THOSE GRAPHS ARE PIMP!! and they post it all on the web.. hella cool.. I wish all dyno shops were as decked out as that..

but as far as the numbers go all i can say is, sorry man.. good luck figureing out whats up..

Dyno was performed in 3rd dood =). But to get it up to speed he powered threw the gears. Yea, somethings up with the car. track times are 15.5 @90mph... with said mods. Im guessing that the Throttle position sensor is messing up my air fuel ratio... not sure how to fix that though.

Did they do a wide band air fuel ratio?? I would be happy with the TQ numbers if the dyno is correct..

You're a/f ratio seems a little rich. You should be more around a 12.8-13.0, so you're losing a little power there.

Don't worry about measuring how good your car is by the dyno numbers, use it more as a comparison between mods and as a tool to check a/f ratio. Some dynos read higher/lower then others.

Max RWHP: 155.4 @ 5040 rpms
Max RWTQ: 187.9 @ 3950 rpms
Estimated Fly Wheel Horsepower: 199 @ 5040 rpms [assuming 22 % drivetrain loss]
Estimated Fly Wheel Torque: 241 @ 3950 rpms [assuming 22 % drivetrain loss]

Thats what it says on the website- the estimates look just about right for a stock engine.

See my point is, Its not to test mods, my mods have helped, thats no doubt, but my main problem is that my car is way under what It should be. I dont even want to keep the car anymore its bothering me so much. But thx for the numbers guys.

3.4 or 3.8? That makes a huge difference.
