You don't have to come to Memphis to be a beta tester! They will send you the product (I think for about half price) and they will want you to fill out some surveys or something. When they release the beta testers, I will let ya'll know.

Meanwhile, if you want to contact Hypertech... all the info is on their website! http://www.hypertech-inc.com

I got a call yesterday from Hypertech. They want to keep the car a little longer. They were able to get a few more horsepower out of the 93 octane tuning. They're working on getting some more low end torque, the 87 octane tuning, and finding that stubborn speed limiter!

            I'll keep everyone updated!

As of now we only have the 2001 3800 available for beta, the 2000 will
come a little later. Keep and eye out or check our website for updates.
Thanks and we appreciate your interest in Hypertech.

                        They've complete the 93 octane and 87 octane tuning for the 2000 3.8L V6's! :D

I gained 2.4 RWHP and 5.2 RWTQ with the 87 octane tuning (didn't expect much with 87 octane). Here's the dyno sheet for 87 octane tuning... http://wtfba.hispeed.com/stuff/87tuning_dyno.jpg

I gained 6 RWHP and 9 RWTQ with the 93 octane tuning. Here's the dyno sheet for 93 octane tuning... http://wtfba.hispeed.com/stuff/93tuning_dyno.jpg

I have not changed out my thermostat yet (195º stock) and I witnessed for my own eyes on the dyno that for every 1º the engine is hotter (over 205º) there's a 1 RWHP loss!!! So, I expect to gain several more horses when I change the thermostat and fan temps! :D Maybe I can get Hypertech to re-dyno the car after I change my thermostat and they solve the speed-limiter issue. ;) When I get the new numbers, I will post them here.

Overall, I have gained 22.3 HP and 37.4 FT/LBS of torque over stock with all my mods including the HPP3! :D

Those guys over at Hypertech are a really great group of people! They took care of my every need and took good care of my car! Hell, they cleaned my car inside out better than I can!!! :D I'm a customer for life!

I can't wait to hit the track this saturday! I hope I can nail the launches down!

Give Hypertech some time to find the speed-limiter issue and I'm sure they'll start looking. Even the instruction manual is in developmental stages! (see example here... http://wtfba.hispeed.com/stuff/instructions.jpg ) If I can get a date for everyone, I'll be sure to pass it along!
