  • got some questions on logging with HP Tuners and running a little rich...

Before anyone asks I don't have HP tuners, but a friend of mine does, he can log my car but and reset codes and settings. Pretty cool.

Well last night we hooked it up to my car just to see how well it worked on non-year bought for cars. (Btw first off won't work on a 95 Lt1(obdII connector, OBDI computer, won't log or anything) On my car it was reading my o2 were pretty rich and running pretty safe. We reset them and the car seemed ot run a bit better.

Any ideas what woudl cause this? Possible they are going out? On a 2k with 45k miles. Any other solutions, exhaust leak?

what was the voltage on the O2?

stock O2 can only read rich/lean and are only accurate arounf 14.7:1 AFR..

the only true way to tell is a Wideband guage.
