whats the code on the door to look for to see if my car is equipped with the y87 package. i have a 97 camaro if thats needed

I'm not 100% sure but on the 97's I THINK only some of the RS's were the only ones given with Y87 aswell, so if you don't have an RS you might not have it, correct me if I'm wrong. If I am wrong it says Y87 somewere near the bottom on the door. Mine did anyway.Originally posted by Tom Rs:

My 97 Bird droptop has it as it was special ordered that way. I dont have a sticker on my door or glovebox but did get the dealer to print out all the option codes(Y87 is in there). Go to the dealer and give the parts guy your VIN. He can do a printout.Comment
