  • Wind noise at driver´s side window

    Hi,

When driving at speeds in excess of 100 mph the wind kind of sucks the drivers side window outwards so that a small gap at the rear rim of the window appears. This gap causes a loud and nasty noise. The passengers side window doesn´t have that problem.

Is there a fix for this? Can the angle of the window be adjusted, or the pressure with which it rests against the window seals?

    Any comment is appreciated.

    Thanx

id say that you have 1 of 2 problems either the window seal is bad or the glass of the window is loose. if you dont leak water when it rains just sitting (not going 100) then the glass is probably loose.
help me build the ultimate sleeper soon ill have a lot more mods than i can list and watch out for the spikes. 02 firebird

That is typical for any 4th gen F-Body traveling in excess of 100 MPH... more so on T-Top cars than hardtops.

At 145 MPH, the windows will seperate from the seals to the point you can stick your hand out the top of the window with the windows in the fully up position. :D
