I'm tired of worrying with that darned EGR system. I've looked into getting it fixed and it's going to end up costing me around $400. I'd rather quit worrying with it all together. I think 93 3.4L's didn't have EGRs (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I'd like to swap mine out for a 93 ECM if everything else will work fine. Is this feasable? Has anyone done it? I'm wanting to put on headers this winter and it'd be nice to not have to worry about bolting the EBR system back on.
If so, where can I get one? I called the guy at Speedautomotive.com and he doesn't have any.

So 93s have EGR's, too? That doesn't help me out at all.
So is there another way I could make my ECM think that the EGR system isn't there. I get SES codes all the time but they're always about the EGR solenoids. I have noticed no loss in power or mileage so I'm not worried about it.
What about plugging a resistor in line to trick the computer into thinking a EGR valve is there? Kind of like the IAT sensor trick with the two cent resistor? Is this a possibility?
Thanks for any help.

So has anyone tried to get around the EGR system and not throw any codes? I get tired of the SES light coming on over and over when I know it's just the EGR malfunction.
Thanks

Ok, here's a new variable to add to the mix. I just ordered a HPP for my camaro. :D Will the performance programming do anything to the EGR system? Anybody else have any experience with using the Hypertech and the EGR setup?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
