Ok on my firebird I have the H.O. hood well when I got the hood I had to readjust the lights so when the lights flipped up it wouldnt hit the hood and stop from going all the way up. Well they were fine until it gets really hot and humid outside and it started it again. Its not so bad now but like when the lights are coming up and you can hit it nub up against the hood. Its starting to make white marks on the light and the hood and Im afriad it will take the paint off both? Anyway to really move the lights so i can get more clearance? Anything? The hood wont go back towards the winsheild any farther either and I have the hood centered pretty much evenly so i dont wanna touch it.

    thanks,
    Aaron

Try sanding down the hood and paint it again.or move it back towards the windsheild a bit
