this is just kind of an interesting thing i've been working on and thought it would be good for guys who like to lower the car..i live on sh*tty city streets so thats why its good for me..

anyways..i removed my front bumper brace + gray foam stuff that fills the front bumper..now this leaves the two nostrils completely open..going into the engine compartment..all that lies between these and the radiator is now a flap of black plastic..remove this and make sure everything is set up for a clear path for air flow..you may now remove the factory air dam underneath which will give you more clearance..

you would now have air flow from the front instead of from the bottom..remember water will now come through here too..so make sure there are no electrical components there that can be harmed by water..also removing the front brace is not a good idea as far as accidents (i originally removed it just for weight reduction)..

im not sure yet if this has any impact on the heating system but it doesnt seem to..just thought id post it..feel free to post tech issues or any other problems you see with this..i just thought id share

I hope you don't rear end anyone. The front bumper isn't there only for impacts, it holds the front of your car in place. Hit anything and you're f*cked.

Are you talking about the bumper or the bumper support? I am talking about the support and how it affects the rigidity of the body.

actually i just slid and hit someone from behind a couple weeks ago..luckily i wasnt going that fast because all the happened to me was the front bumper bent in because its just flexible plastic..i put my hand behind it and just pushed it right back out..however..like i mentioned in the write up..if i was going fast then yeah..i would've been screwed..so this mod is for people who are more concerned about looks and performance than safety
