Also can this be done with any 3-way switch in that same manner or just that one? I don't have a nearby Radio Shack...1997 Camaro RS W/T-Tops
All Stock / 200 HP

if its a 3 position switch. one end (right position) would be your high speed, middle position of the switch would be off (pcm controlled and the other end (left position) would be low. this is a typically wired switch. the positions coud be changed depending on the wiring. Here are instructions: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/279050/5Ummad!
2k pewter maro M5. 160 thermo, WhisperLid w/K&N Filter, Jet PCM Stage 2, Free Ram Air, Air Silencer Delete (purchased already and) waiting to install manual fan switch, air/fuel ratio guage.

I've come to find out you don't need a manual fan switch at all, atleast I know this works for a '97 Camaro. Basically, turn your climate control nob to A/C or MAX, and voila, there's your manual fan switch. It will keep your temps perfect even after sitting for long periods of time. For instance, when I know I'm coming to city traffic or the drive through, I turn the knob and it keeps the temp exactly what it was when driving around. If I don't do this and the car sits for a few minutes or so you can watch the temp slowly climb, and if you sit long enough, like 10-15 minutes, it'll get to just under 210 and sit there. So, I wouldn't even hastle with a manual fan switch, as we already kinda have one. Try it out.

If you want I will make and sell you one without LEDs for $15. All you will have to do is mount the switch, run the wire I give you to the engine bay, and tap in to 2 wires.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251
