these are the tires I am choosing between. since they are all good tires, the most important factor left is tread life.
appx how many miles will i get out of these?
I work for Firestone and I have been handling tires for years and I have seend more problems with the Kumho brand tires than almost anything else. For example on Kumho's I've seen numerous tires with blown out sidewalls, seperated tread, etc. Plus you don't get a lot of traction out of them. Me, myself I go with Potenza G009 or the Potenza S-03, but Fuzion's are a pretty good tire. I haven't seen a lot of problems with them and they have a suggested tread life of about 40K to 55K miles, depending on how you drive. Potenza's cost a little more but when you drive on the you'll know where the extra money went. Good Luck.
Where ever you are looking at these it will tell you the treadwear rating ie 200,280,300,400 and so on. the higher the number, the longer they are supposed to last but, thats has many variables. Driving style, pressure and eveything else. The tires I'm looking at have a treadwear of 200 which is bad but, they are sticky are hell and thats what I want them for.

the 712s are good, quite a while even if you do lots of burnouts, tractions is decent. Get em warm and they'll stick good. Dunno about fuzions. The ecsta mx are more of an autocross kinda of tires, traction is good around corners but for starightline not as great, they wear alot quicker than the 712s as well.

My 712s, have 13k, I'd say I am about a 3rd through them, but I have 5 autocrosses on them and a few trips to the track. I drive pretty harsh on them too.

I just had to buy new tires not too long ago. I did all the research and looked at all the tires, and I finally went into the tire place and talked to the guy and he recommended the Fuzion ZRi's. I love em. They are a good bang for the buck. I believe the ones I got have a 320 tread rating. I've had them only a couple thousand miles, but still going strong.

40k ? damn then i must go with thoes. the other kuhmos sound like they would make it about 20k, correct? or is it more than that
I'm not completely sure about the life of the fuzion's but I've had numerous customers come in and say that the Fuzions, even being raced on occasionaly lasted that long. It all depends on how you drive.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
