He's talking about the hump where the cat goes.
I would, but my one cat from my long tubes sits right there, so unfortunately I can't remove it :(

That big hump on the passenger side of the car is for the transmission. Crawl under there, look around the area where the external servo is...notice how the sheet metal is lifted so the tranny can sit in there, less than an inch of clearance, if you were to remove that hump, I don't even see a way to make things work.Teal 94 Camaro 3.4 Liter
Transgo stage 3 shiftkit, Shift module, corvette servo, SLP cold air induction,3.42 ring and pinion, Heavy Duty Posi LSD, Flowmaster exhaust, NX, blackouts

That "hump" in the passenger side floor is for the cat...not the transmission.

Whistler from CZ28.com removed his passenger side cat hump...I remember reading that he did that.
It didn't interfere with his exhaust at all......because he has an LS1 with true duals
If you searched his name, you could probebly email him for how much it would cost. However, I think he did it himself, because apparently he is one of those people that can fabricate anything.--David--
The NEW V6Bird Website!
Cardomain site
ΔX

The hump really doesn't bother me. I've ridden in the passenger seat of the Firebird for nine hours with just short breaks. I wasn't uncomfortable at all. I just stretch out and put my feet behind it anyways.Black 2002 Camaro M5-SS takeoff muffler, B&M Ripper, K&N Filter, 35/20% tint, Infinity speakers, Viper alarm, perpetually breaking clutch return spring mod. 15.49@90.15
Pewter 2002 Firebird M5 (Dad\'s Car)
