anyone know the different year for different chips?
ie... i have a 1999 firebird... will a stage 2 from a 2001 camaro aork?

no wont work, they are year and tanny specific -
From what I heard the Jet Chip for a 1999 model will work with 2000 - 2002. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?Comment

Nope, at least Jet says they will not
They are transmission specific, and specific to groups of years
For instance 2000-2001 can use the same jet chip, but noone else can use theirs.
go to jetchip.com, click on domestic, and look up your car & year. It will tell you the correct part number. The hypertech chips are also year spacific so I doubt the jet chip from a different year will work for ya.
