I got my hpp3 from HAZ-Matt yesterday and im really impressed with it! I only have it at 87oct tuning, cause i usually use middle grade gas. Next time i fill her up though, im gonna use 93 and reprogram. Some of you guys comments about it being a waist of money almost made me not get it, but i had a few spare bucks layin around and just went for it. Im glad i did! i plan on getting a new rearend (3.42s) soon, so hpp3 helps in other ways too. I can feel quite a bit more torque through the powerband, though i havnt gunned it from a stop to anything above the speed limit (yet). I also hardened shifts up 100% (not actually 2x harder, just max allowable) and from a 30mph roll, i chirp the tires , but my tires are pretty bald right now, so that may change soon. I havnt messed with shiftpoints yet. What do you guys reccomend for shiftpoints? Im alittle uneasy about messing with them myself, so id like a little advice.
Overall, im extremely happy with the product and would reccomend one to anyone, unless you are getting custom tune (TSP) or dyno tune. The main reason i didnt do the TSP tune, is i cant go without my car for a while, while the pcm is gone, and i may need to set the car back to defaults if i have work done to my car. I cant wait to get the 93oct tune, even though it shouldnt be too much better, but 1rwhp gain is 1rwhp more than i had before
