  • troubleshooting help

    what would be the symtoms of:

    low fuel pump compression

    old spark plugs

    bad fuel injectors

    i know this is kind of a general question but you guys always help me out so much. thanks alot for any input! [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]

      well not all at the same time. my car is still misfiring badly and those were my three suspects, but strangely there is no SES light.

        No SES from a misfire on a 3.8 is strange.

        I would suspect wire, plug, coil, ICM in that order.

        The condition of the spark plugs can help diagnose problems. For example, if you get bad stumble at idle, shut the engine off and check all plugs. Find 5 that are tan/off-white and one that is black/wet and you found your problem cylinder.
