  • How do remove the water pump pulley on a 3.4?

please tell me ho to do this, i am stuck and this is holding my up.

its just 4 bolts that hold the pully itsself to the pump. Might have to put it in a bench vice so it won't move on you. But when I did it I had air tools to help me so it was easy to put the pully on and off.

It's just four bolts holding it on. If the pump is on the car, keep the serpentine belt on while unbolting the pulley... it makes it much much easier if you don't have air tools.

u can have a friend hold the pulley while you unbolt them, the bolts dont have too much torque on them. or find a screwdriver and jam it in, shoud work like a charm, i personally only need to use air tools when i took off my crankshaft pulley
I will take on all comers...or come on all takers!!! Whichever you prefer.

              i see
air tools attatch to an air compressor, they have air ratchets, air hammers, air guns, pretty much regular tools that use compressed air instead of man power

An electric or an air impact gun works wonders in this situation.q

A screwdriver should work, but a crowbar should work better, even a light tap w/ a hammer. :D
