OK--it looks like something wet has splattered onto the right front part of my valve cover--wish I had a pic, but anyway, my power steering reservoir is slightly overfilled-could it be that when the car is running/moving that some fluid is coming out and splashing up against the valve cover? Or could the valve cover gasket be leaking? Despite a slightly rough idle, the engine runs like a champ--have a 2000 3.8. Anyone else have this type of problem??

I did, but I had a pinhole leak in my power steering pressure line. Best thing you can do is wipe everything down, and keep an eye out. I'm not sure how fluid would escape from the reservoir when it's sealed, but they do tell you not to over-fill it, so maybe.
Most likely, you can tell what kind of fluid is on the engine just by the color. If you see the fluid again, just dab it up with a white paper towel. You'd be able to see the difference between oil and power steering fluid, and you'll certainly taste the difference (only semi-kidding, you can try this).1997 Mystic Teal Firebird w/ T-tops
3800 II V6 A4
Custom dual exhaust, modified airbox, K&N filter, ground effects, more to come...
