I have a 98 camaro and was wondering if 85k is to high to start puttin the good ole bolt ones (Headers, cam, ram air, and all the rest) i want more power but im only 17 and no job as of yet and have a bit of money to spend... any suggestions....other than power adders

I've got 94k on my 99 now. I run seafoam through it every other oil change and use 10-30 full synthetic oil.
I definitely plan on doing a cam on mine, still runs great.

120K here, and still modding. 148k+ and running stronger than ever. Haven't opened the motor up yet, just been replacing stuff that breaks with bolt-ons. Coil went bad, replace with MSD coils. i had 95,000 on mine when i started modding, currently have 130,000 and its still good. but i am saving for a new(used)engine to built strong next year. I think a vehicle is only as good as how it's been taken care of. I had a bronco II with 487,000 miles, I had been thru several clutches and transimissions, but it was still running on the untouched engine. It started to leak oil from the valve covers but others than that the engine was fine didn't blow smoke or anything. It's all about mainteance in my book.
I drive roughly 50,000 miles per year, sometimes alot more. I'm currently at 134,xxx on my 96 3.8 we will see how high I can get it, while modding.
