• Custom performance racing FYI.

Guys and Gals... just wanted to provide a FYI on a company called custom performance racing. (formerly FT force)

    http://www.customracer.com/

I had placed an order last Tuesday on 9/2/03. I have not seen any merchandise yet. When calling the company customer service line you get a voice mail asking to call back or leave a message. However, the voice mail box is full.

I have also e-mailed Last week and this morning with no response.

I then called my credit card company and they stated that no attempt to even make a transaction was ever made.

I just wanted to provide an FYI as to the type of customer service this company provides. Hope this helps anyone else in the future.

    Good luck, happy motoring!! ;)
    Thanks,
JAM
02 Firebird GT

Can the credit card people put a proactive block that will keep them from trying to charge it?

Terrible service. Now I know why prices on some items were less! How long did it take for them to randomly charge your card Fireman89?

Unfortunatly there is no way to block them. You can only despute the charge if it happens and no merchandise is recieved.

if you think they might try to do it, just call the cc company and request a new cc # and have the old one cancelled then you don't have to worry about them trying to run it through..

I know this thread is ancient, but all I can say is I wish I had done a search for this company before ordering ...

Placed an order on 1/06, and my credit card was billed eight days later. Several e-mail attempts requesting order status have gone unanswered. No one ever answers the phone there, and their voice mailbox is always full.

Learn from the mistakes of others. Do a search before ordering from a company for the first time to make sure they have a good reputation with board members. Better yet, deal with a site sponsor.
