  • Headlight squeeks

Hey everybody, my passenger side headlight is squeeking when it comes up. It only squeeks on the way up, and only for a little bit as it is almost the entire way up. Any ideas?

The drivers side headlight motor on the Firebird was squeaking really loudly, but I tried it yesterday and it isn't squeaking anymore. I'm not sure what the problem was though.

Mine were squeaking, took it to the dealer, they lubed it and everything's been fine..

It was under warranty, so it was free. I don't think they lubed the parts well enough on the line, since within six months of getting the car I had the dealer lube the headlights and both power windows.

If you're out of warranty, you can prob get to it yourself and drop some nice grease in there. Something like a marine grease will stick in there pretty well.
