  • changing the fuel sending unit/pump

Did a search on the subject and found nothing but non-related rambling. Anyone here cut holes in the trunk area to change the fuel pump and sending unit, eliminating the need to lower the tank and rearend? If so, where do I cut?

Oh yeah, I have a vert' so my trunk is different than you guys with a hatch.

All I need is someone to SERIOUSLY (not joking around) tell me I can't do it so I can prepare to do it the hard way. If you catch my drift. ;)

      thanks......I guess.

Still doesn't answer my question about how it differs from the convertible to the hatch, but I guess I'll figure it out on my own.

the trunk panel should still be the same. i have the instructions to do it but its for a hatchback. i would assume it would be impossible to do with e convertible b/c of the size/shape of the trunk. you can still try though! here it is
