i have a 97 firebird. How do i find out how many splines are on my axle. I saw a ebay item that is a zexel torsion posi diff with 3.42 gears. But he says it has to fit a 28 spline rear, and wondering if it will fit mine. it is for a 7.5 rear, not sure what i have. would love to get it considering i only have a 3.08 in it now.

Going from 3.08 -> 3.42/LSD was a noticable improvement for me, especially off the line, and at WOT it feels quite a bit stronger :cool:Black \'97 Camaro w/ CAI, catback
