• Back wheels won't come off

Removed the lugs, but the stupid wheels won't come off. Do I have to bash the **** out of them?

Was just gonna take them up to get new tires too...

I took a sledgehammer to them. Stock rims on stock rear-end.

They still won't budge.

DAMN really? are they fused on there or welded on?
Br carefull about using a sledgehammer. You may end up damaging the wheel bearings

The aluminum on steel causes some kind of chemical reaction, and they bond together. You're supposed to use anti-seize on the rim.

I bashed on it with a rubber hammer really hard once I was sure the jackstands were ok... and both wheels popped off. Thanks guys

I second this, it always works. It feels like my new 17's are welded on there, ut just kick the crap out of them, and they will come off. It wont hurt them either. Remember they are the ones that put down V6 power day in, and day out. :D Later. ;)

Got new tires and then found out both of my back rims are bent... Could've been the ditch the previous owner went through though ;)

Be very very careful.

I have heard this but never tried it. NOt even sure if I should reccomend it.

loosen the lugs a little not alot, then go drive the car in cirlces, but don't go far
