I was reading or actually looking threw a moroso mag. that i have and noticed an electric waterpump for small block v8's and 90 degree v6's and was thinking if you would see a improvement in performance or keep the engine running better or nothing at all is a waste of time?

So basically... this electric water pump will just eliminate the existing water pump out of the pully system? If thats the case i'm sure you will see an improvement in performance. Only a little bit though. Thats like getting a smaller belt to elimintate the a/c out of the loop. I doubt you'll see very little out of it. If the price is right then yea go for it man. You probably will have to buy a new belt though also. I'm not really sure what all you have done to your car, but there probably are a lot better mods out there to give you more performance then the elec. water pump. But like I said if the price is right man, otherwise if it were me i'd look in other areas to increase performance.

No man, don't do it. Even drag racers have stopped using an electric water pump. At high RPM it can't keep up enough flow. Also, if the electric motor ever went out while driving, you wouldn't know until it was too late.\'94 Camaro 3.4<br />\"No, Starvin Marvin. That\'s my pot pie.\"
