  • p1651 PSP Switch Input Malfunction

My car has been hesitating for a while (only in the mornings), ever since I changed my fuel injectors. It is also very hard to start. Last night I got a car wash and my car started idling bad.

I dont know if these problems are related, but now:

Im getting a trouble code P1651: PSP Switch Input Malfunction. No-one knows what a PSP switch is (Autozone, Pep Boys, Checkers, etc.). Does anyone here know what it is? I was thinking power steering pump switch, but I wasn't aware it had one. Any ideas?

Looks like it could be caused by bad wiring or a bad relay. Do you have a manual fan switch installed?

No I dont have a manual fan switch. do you know if there are separate relays for each fan, because the drivers side fan isnt working, and the passenger side is. Thanks

Yes, there's "Cooling Fan Relay 1" and "Cooling Fan Relay 2".
