Anyone ever done this? My car is running kinda hot, about 210, so I replaced my thermostat (180 one from Oreiley) and my bottom radiator hose. That seemed to fix it on the highway, my car stays at around 180, but when I get off and get in city traffic it'll sometimes jump up to 210 until I start accelerating alot again, and it's still leaking coolant in the front of the engine block. I'm assuming it can only be the water pump?
Has anyone replaced their waterpump? Is it a serious pain in the *** ? How many hours? heh.

water pump should be pretty easy.... its right there in the open and we have all that extra room in front of the engine. you get new hoses and waerpump, drain the fluid out, it should be a strait forward disconnect reconnect install.

Yeah I know, but before all this started happening it would run consistantly at 180, it would *NEVER* raise to 210, I just like to keep things the way they were.

Do the following:
1 - Run a 160F Thermostat
2 - Change your coolant mix to 70% water for the summer, 50/50 for the winter.
3 - Close off any "Free ram air" as thats just a radiator air leak, makes the car run hot...
4 - Get yourself or make yourself a fan switch, its invaluable and only costs $12 in Radiosnack parts.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
