Ok, I was sitting at Wal*Mart last night, had the radio on and the windows rolled down. All the sudden the car felt like it was gonna die, but then picked right back up idleing, but after it had done that, I lost all power to windows, vert. top, radio, side view mirrors, locks, and just about anything else electrical. I checked the fuses today... none were blown. Help plz :(

Will the car start right now? It could be a wire from the battery to the alternator, or an alternator belt.2001 A4 Pewter 75th Anniversary W68 Firebird
1997 Dodge Ram Extended Cab 360 CID
1996 Ford Explorer V6
Any number you can think of, I can think of one higher.
www.criesmusic.com
www.mp3.com/beneaththestage
http://www.thenebula.com/carpics/pics/Silver3800V6Picturescar6.jpg
http://www.thenebula.com/carpics/pics/Silver3800V6Picturescar4.jpg
AIM: Guitarchitect201

Ok, i found something out. I took off the fuse panel and found the window fuse. I took it out and made sure it was ok, it was. Then i checked to see if the clips that help the fuse were ok, they were not. Both the window and the radio fuse clips had no power when i tested them. then i got some wire and hooked up the 30v fuse and hooked one clip into the panel that i was for sure worked, then grounded it and the windows rolled up, so i'm thinking that i've somehow blow the radio and window circut.
make sense to anyone?http://www.xbox3604free.com/default.aspx?r=381546

There is (or at least there should be - other GM's have it, I'd check, but my son has the firebird out right now) a connector that carries about a 6 or 4 gauge wire from the battery to power some circuits, such as the radio, windows, etc.... If you look at the positive battery terminal, follow the smaller wire coming out of it until you come to a connector (should be somewhere near the fender).
I had a similar problem with my 96 olds ciera, and it was caused by a bad connection at this connector. I just bypassed the connector with a spice of some heavy wire, and all was right with the world again....it\'s lonely out in space...

Break out the tester. You will have a diagram of the locations of all the fusable links in your car. Check the accessories link, it may have shorted on something. Also check for any melted wires stuck to your exhaust.\'94 Camaro 3.4
\"No, Starvin Marvin. That\'s my pot pie.\"
