I've noticed that when I drive my car it gets really warm inside with the heat off. I can feel the heat from underneath the kick panels and from the tranny tunnel. It also comes out of the winshield heater vent. The heat is OFF, it even does this with the a/c running. I was wondering if this was normal or is my engine or tranny running too hot?

I mean this does this with the heat and a/c off. It feels like its coming from the firewall and tranny tunnel. Like the metal of the firewall and tranny tunnel are getting very hot.
posted this a little late, my bad. They are vacuum operated I believe but is it a constant vacuum? It happens for the entire time I drive until I shut the car off.
