Do a search....Seafoam has been discussed in a lot of detail a lot of times! Try looking in General tech, there should still be about 2 topics regarding Seafoam..what it does and where to put it.

yep, and when all else fails. directions on the can:

        When added to crankcase

one pint treats 10 quarts of oil. for use in all motor oils including synthetic

        When added to gas tank

one pint treats 8-25 gallons of fuel

when used through injection or carb

with engine running slowly pour half pint through carb, throttle body, or direct manifold vacum line that will feed all cylinders. possible sources are pcv (i dont recomend this one) and brake booster line (try this one). turn ignition off. restart after 5 min. be sure exhaust is well ventilated. fumes will be extreme for a short time (theyre not kidding)

I just did the seafoam engine treatment for the first time to my car. I noticed a difference in throttle response and such. Didn't get as much smoke as people warned me though. I guess its because i have a heavy foot

It makes sense though, if you drive hard and/or do alot of highway driving, there shouldn't be that much carbon buildup to burn.
